Trustee
Ekene was born and raised in Nigeria, she moved to the UK at 17 to further her education. She holds a BA(Hons) in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Manchester and is a qualified management accountant. Having close ties back in Nigeria, she has driven our work in the region forward. Her expertise in scrutinising international finances enables us to undertake due diligence on projects overseas and engage in fundraising activities. She became a trustee in 2013 and was elected Chair in 2015 until 2019 and is now an adviser.
