Institut Supérieur en Sciences Infirmières (ISSI)
ISSI provides vocational training in the healthcare sector, equipping students to become nurses and midwives.
ISSI is the leading institution for training nurses in DR Congo. ISSI’s programme focuses on vocational training in the healthcare sector. It equips students with much-needed skills for responding to the national health crisis. Due to the poor infrastructure and health risks, investment into the national healthcare sector is vital. Students at ISSI receive training aimed at improving the healthcare services on a national level. With improved teaching methods and an individual support system for students through a mentoring programme.
ISSI also offers a Master’s programme in health care administration (MAPS). This is the first programme of its kind.
