How we work
We work with local partners and projects that support women and girls through education. In practice, this means giving women and girls the training required to enter high-quality jobs and support through grants and mentoring so that they are able to complete their education and fulfil their potential.
We are passionate about helping women and girls gain access to quality education so that they can fulfil their potential and become leaders in their own lives. Here are the achievements we have had since Wonder was established as a charity in 2012:
We have supported 50,757 women and girls through our programmes.
We have worked with 37 women-led local partners.
We have worked in 22 countries around the world.
4,321 women and girls have graduated across our partner projects.
Where we work
We currently work with partners in 16 countries around the globe, in Africa, Asia, Central America and Europe. Lack of access to quality education and healthcare, poverty and strong partner organisations all play a part in where we choose to work. We focus on improving the efficiency of new and continuing projects.
Our projects and partners
We currently work with 22 women-led local organisations (partners) globally who have a proven track record of helping poor communities through education. We rely on their expertise to respond to local needs and solutions in order to establish sustainable projects.
