Leave a gift in your Will
Any gift, large or small, will help empower women and girls with quality education and vocational training so they can exit poverty for good.
Fundraise at school
We have plenty of ways for your school to get involved.
A gift in your will can transform a woman’s future.
By leaving a gift in your Will to WONDER, you can empower the next generation of women and girls with quality education and vocational training so they can exit poverty for good.
Any gift, no matter how large or small, can transform a woman’s future.
Writing your Will may sound daunting, but it can actually be easy and even free to do. Below there is some information you may find helpful when making your decision.

My life has not been purposeful until I gained admission into Wavecrest. Now I can say this is where I want to be and who I want to become.

How can your gift make a difference?
After you have taken care of those closest to you, a gift in your Will can help ensure women and girls around the world can receive the education they need to exit poverty.
Whether it’s providing vocational training in the healthcare sector in the DRC, facilitating employment skills training in Kazakhstan, funding quality education for young girls in Guatemala, or supporting empowerment and social integration efforts for migrants across Europe, your gift will be right at the heart of our projects and programmes that support the empowerment of women and girls through quality education.
All gifts can make a lasting impact to the lives of the girls and women in our projects and programmes.
Types of gifts
Residuary: After taking care of those closest to you, you can choose to leave a percentage of your estate (everything you own) to WONDER. Even 1% would make a difference in the lives of the women and girls in our projects.
Pecuniary: A fixed sum of money. The pecuniary gifts could lose their value as the cost of living increases (inflation). These gifts can be linked to inflation (index-linked) to help them retain its intended value over time.
Specific gift: a named item, for example a piece of jewellery or property.
In memory
Making a gift to WONDER in the name of a loved one may be a special, personal way to celebrate them and make their memory live on.
Donating in memory is a simple and meaningful way to remember your loved one while donating funds for the girls and women in our projects. It can be a one-off donation or a donation of funds you have collected in a funeral or memorial service; either way, you can pay tribute to the memory of someone by making your donation directly on our website.
How can you leave a gift in your Will?
Writing your Will is one of the most important things you will ever do. After naturally taking care of your loved ones first, we hope you will consider leaving a gift to WONDER. Your legacy will just not change the life of one woman, but also her family and her community, leaving a lasting footprint across generations.
We always recommend discussing your Will and the type of gift you would like to leave to WONDER with a solicitor. If you need to find one you can contact The Law Society on 020 7320 5650 or visit solicitors.lawsociety.org.uk
If you need a complex Will or specific advice on a complicated matter, you may need to make your Will with a solicitor. If you need a solicitor or simply decide to use one to write or update your Will and you would still like to remember us, you will need to include our charity number and address in your Will:
WONDER Foundation
Charity number: 1148679
300 Brixton Road
London
SW9 6AE

I feel lucky, happy and excited to leave a legacy to WONDER in my will. It is a huge privilege to know that once I have gone, I can still contribute to the education, and thus life chances, of women and girls who would, otherwise, not be able to study and get a good job.
