An update from our founders: Coronavirus

We hope that you and your loved ones are keeping well and safe in these very challenging circumstances we find ourselves in.

We know that our community and supporters care deeply about the women and girls we work with around the world. In these uncertain times we want to update you on how WONDER Foundation is managing the challenges which Coronavirus is presenting us with.

Our top priorities right now are to ensure the wellbeing of our staff and partners so that we can continue delivering our programmes which our community generously supports.

We are taking the necessary precautions to protect our staff and their loved ones from Coronavirus. Following the UK’s government guidelines we have closed our office and the team is now working remotely. We are doing everything we can to adapt to the present circumstances and remain dedicated to continuing our transformative work with our partners around the world.

As the pandemic reaches new territories we are supporting our partners with online and phone training so they are prepared to move their training and teaching programmes online to protect the women and girls they work with. We are also working closely with each of them so that they can continue their work with women and girls without too much interruption.

In times like these, we believe our greatest strength lies in our solidarity to each other, even the smallest mindful action can truly make a difference. If you’d like to support our work with women and girls around the world during this difficult time, please donate
