We recognise that inequality exists everywhere and so we also provide capacity building, research and fundraising support to a number of projects in the UK, as well as running local campaigns.

The Baytree Centre: helping refugee and migrant women to learn English  

We’re proud to work with the Baytree Centre in Brixton, which provides education, mentoring and after-school clubs for disadvantaged women and girls. Our work with them in recent times has focussed on fundraising for the English language classes they provide to help refugee and migrant women learn.

CARIS & Park Lane: supporting families every Christmas

As well as training and other assistance throughout the year, we make a big collection of books, toys and non-perishable food items every Christmas to support the homeless and vulnerable families of Haringey, north London.

FGM prevention, sex trafficking awareness

We regularly engage groups representing at-risk communities around London in sessions to discuss what they can do to prevent female genital mutilation (FGM) and also run training sessions to help raise awareness and enable community leaders to work against the trafficking of women.
