Youth mentoring project meets in Latvia

Our European mentoring project gathers speed with an international partners meeting

16th May 2017

Last week Wonder's "Easier Transitions: Helping Hands" European mentoring project took a step forward as international partners met in Riga, Latvia, to review progress and plan the rest of the project. Youth Manager Olive Ahmed and Fundraising Director Carmen Gonzalez met representatives from partner organisations in Spain, Slovenia, Latvia and Poland to evaluate the research and practical tools already produced. In addition the most practical materials for young mentees and youth workers - guides, toolkits, videos and animations - were shared and tested by local Latvian young people.

The project's final mentoring resources will be launched this July. To be on the email list to receive them, sign up here, or find out more about the project here
