Survey: How Migrant Women Learn English

Monday, May 29, 2017

Following the Wonder Foundation’s 2016 research, “Women Breaking the English Barrier” and discussions emerging from the NATECLA’s “Towards an ESOL strategy for England” , Wonder Foundation and Beyond the Page want to learn from those working with women who are learning English.

We are looking to learn more about the types of English language learning on offer to women, both accredited, formal, informal, and non-formal, so as to understand not only what helps women to learn English, but what gives them the confidence to use it and be empowered in their lives. We are particularly interested in hearing from those with an interest in women’s-only provision.

We would love it if you could take the time before 25 June to complete our 10-12 minute survey here . We also look forward to gaining more detailed insights into your work so that we can share innovative methods and success stories with others and showcase some of the excellent practice as well advocate for better provision for vulnerable female learners.
